[SunRay-Users] Surplus SunRay 2 and SunRay 3 Units - Victoria/Australia

The company I work for is about to undertake a total endpoint replacement.

We are replacing all of our SunRay 2 and SunRay 3 devices - hundreds of
units of both types.
All units are in working order.

Is anyone interested in providing a new home for any of these devices?
Otherwise, they are going to be recycled.

Victoria/Australia is preferred destination but we can talk other parts of
Australia if required.

Cheers,
Aaron

I sure wish you were in the U.S.

We are in desperate need of Sun Ray 3 devices if anyone has plans to part ways with them.

Ah, Barwon water, of course. I remember you guys :-)

How many sun rays did you deploy at its peak?

Shame on oracle for doing what they did... Some American company wanted to
buy that unit out I think, but apparently oracle didn't even wink... :-(

I think that was VMware, but after Oracle refused, they went the Terradicci route. Don't quote me.

The company I work for will be getting rid of a mix of 300 Sun Ray 1, 2 and
3 units soon. We even have some old Sun Ray 150 that are still in use. We
are in Queensland if there is anyone interested but I expect that most of
the Sun Rays will go to recycling.

We only ever purchased 2 of the Sun Ray 3 Plus units, last time I saw them
they were in working order.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry for not replying sooner. Work regularly gets in the way.

We've had 430 units of varying types through BW at some point in time.
SunRay 1G/150 through to SunRay 3 Plus.

My current dilemma is that I want to donate to charity but there only seems
to be overseas takers.

Peter Anderson was in touch as well.

Cheers,
Aaron

Let them pay for packaging&handling and shipping costs.
I am sure many would like to pay it to get them.
Also I may be naive about how much shipping costs actually are.

I have one friend in AU that might take them,
How much of them and what exact models/state there is left?

We are one of the interested charities in the UK, have several Oz
members who can collect and will then ship to us. We are more than happy
to cover shipping and packaging costs!!!!

Typical price for a SR3 in the UK is £100+ and not many come up for sale
anyway.
