I loved my Sun Rays but took them off my desk at home when Oracle discontinued. I just discovered that the Server Software has (recently) reved and I noticed it looks like the server software will run as a Virtual Box guest.

Is that correct, will SRSS run on in Vbox? Can someone explain how to buy a license for it so I can download it?

When I worked for Sun I had a VBox Solaris 10 instance running SRSS that I
would use to demo the software. It works fine. Probably need to use bridged
networking.

Version 5.4 is free to download:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/sunrayproducts/downloads/index.html

Even though you need a support contract for 5.4.4, I think for home use
there is not so much difference.
