Hi everyone,

I just upgraded our Sun Ray Servers to 5.4.3 and now the USB redirection is not working. Our Sun Ray 2 thin clients connect to VMware View over RDP. I've reinstalled the Sun Ray Connector Windows Components on the VMware vm's but that doesn't seem to help. I've already tried running through the steps listed here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35310_01/E41121/html/Windows-USB-Device-Redirection.html#Troubleshooting-USB-Redirection but was unable to find a fix.

A couple symptoms that occur but don't have an explanation are:

- USB drive does not show up in Windows
- The USB redirection taskbar icon shows up but once you place your cursor over it the icon disappears.
- UtSrDtuBus device is missing under Device Manager-Universal Serial Bus controllers

Also, I am not seeing anything in the event viewer that appears helpful.

Any help our ideas anyone has would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this is too simple, but just to make sure: You know that in
5.4.x the USB redirection is no longer on by default, but must be
explicitly specified using "-r usb:on" on the connector command line?
